Valents Group currently has two members comprising a Director and an Executive Director.

The Director has over 16 years of experience in leadership roles and has made significant contribution to the business operations, organisational development and management. The Director is responsible for developing strategies and setting strategic objectives and directions for Valents Group. In addition, the Director is also responsible for monitoring the business performance and operations. The Director has a Diploma and completed several management training programs.

Vageesh Nonavinakere

The Executive Director is a seasoned professional who posses a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Recently, he has completed Asset Management and Infrastructure Project Management papers from Monash University, Australia. He has over 25 years of progressive experience in civil engineering field at international level including water, environmental, construction, civil engineering and consulting services.

Over the last 15 years, Vageesh has been contributing to water industry and local governments. He has managed several large development proposals concerning three waters (water, wastewater and stormwater), developed and implemented capital and environmental projects, managed asset operations and maintenance.

Vageesh has initiated and implemented water quality improvement projects, water quality compliance audits and contract improvement programs. He managed business unit and was responsible for implementing business plan and profit/loss of business unit.

Vageesh is passionate about asset management and continues to focus on this area. He believes asset management is the key for successful delivery of levels of service by protecting them to prevent failure so that it could cause minimal effect on social and the economic. He views asset managers as always facing challenges to balance between the investment, service delivery and demand management.

Vageesh has attended several Water New Zealand conferences and innovation workshop in Australia. He held senior management and leadership positions in his previous roles.
